Nor does the supply have to be reliable. It’s a qualified achievement. The real goal of 100% household connection is slated for 2019.

IEEFA’s forecast for only 10-20GW of new coal generators to come online ever is striking. Coal Plant Tracker’s last number for plants under construction (from December) was 43 GW, so IEEFA are counting over half of these as walking dead. Good.
